UNA VISIÓN PANORÁMICA DEL FENÓMENO BULLYING

Abstract

Se presenta el fenómeno Bullying por la importancia y el impacto que tiene en nuestra sociedad. Se lo define como Comportamiento prolongado de insulto verbal, rechazo social, intimidación psicológica y/o agresión física de un/os niño/s hacia otro que se convierte en víctima. Se describen los diferentes roles en la dinámica del Bullying: Hostigadores activos, seguidores activos, seguidor es pasivos, seguidores ocultos, testigos no implicados, defensores, hostigados activos, hostigados pasivos, y adultos (docentes, directivos, padres). Se describen los tipos de bullying: físico, verbal, social y la variante electrónica / cibernética. Finalmente se explican los factores de riesgo y los efectos a corto y mediano plazo.
