Systematic Review. Addictions and Domestic Violence
Keywords:
addiction, domestic violence, intrafamilial violence.Abstract
Various considered studies of intra-family violence in America and Spain are associated with the problem of excessive consumption of addictive substances, elements and/or actions taken by some of the members of the family group. In this exhaustive research paper, considerable information was obtained for the systematic analysis, through the Prism method by PICOS, of scientific discoveries revealed by health professionals and other related areas, be it for approval or refutation. With a total of 53 articles collected and analyzed, obtained from the Online Scientific Bases Redib, Scielo, Dialnet, BvSalud, Doaj and Redalyc, the study managed to conceptualize cases, effects and possible solutions on the phenomena of addiction and its relationship with abuse in the family. The prevention and support of the victims, largely children and teenagers at the hands of their parents or guardians, is the axis where the effectiveness of care and action against the problem will reside. It will also be essential to know of possible triggers in contemporary society that lead to different addictions, as a consecquence of significant damage to one's own physical and mental health as well as those of others.
