Feminismos y Activismo de Mujeres: Síntesis Histórica y Definiciones Conceptuales
Abstract
El trabajo propone un recorrido histórico por las diferentes conceptualizaciones del feminismo, desde sus orígenes hasta la actualidad. Se proponen las tres olas feministas, considerando si la primera inicia en el contexto europeo o norteamericano, según distintos historiadores. Asimismo, se plantea la posibilidad del surgimiento de una cuarta ola feminista. Por otra parte, se plantea al fenómeno del feminismo en el contexto argentino desde sus inicios, pasando por los principales hitos del movimiento. Por último, se discute si la expansión del feminismo a partir de problemas sociales e interculturales, le ha dado al movimiento el poder de considerar y tener en cuenta las diferentes necesidades de las mujeres.
