ASPECTOS CENTRALES DE LA DISCUSIÓN SOBRE NORMAS Y VALORES EN TORNO DE LA ECOLOGÍA PROFUNDA DE ARNE NAESS
Abstract
En un breve trabajo de 1972, el filósofo noruego Arne Naess distingue entre la
ecología superficial (Shallow Ecology) y la Ecología Profunda (Deep Ecology) al
observar las actitudes políticas y las actividades del movimiento ambientalista o
ecologista. La hipótesis central de esta tesina es que si se reconoce que algunas
críticas hechas a ciertos aspectos axiológicos y normativos de la propuesta
naessiana representan objeciones atendibles, entonces también se puede reconocer
elementos normativos y valorativos vinculados a la intuición moral del agente (por
ejemplo actitudes, carácter, visiones) que otorgan a esta posición una perspectiva
más integral, en su calidad de postura ética.
