Niveles de empatía en una muestra de enfermeras españolas

La empatía es una competencia fundamental en la atención al paciente que presenta beneficios tanto para el paciente como para las propias enfermeras. El presente estudio pretende estudiar los niveles de empatía de una muestra de 414 enfermeras españolas así como su relación con variables sociodemográficas mediante el instrumento (JSE) para estudiantes de enfermería. El análisis de datos se desarrolló mediante estadísticos descriptivos y pruebas t, ANOVAS y correlaciones, mediante SPSS versión 22. Los resultados sugieren que los niveles de empatía de la muestra de estudio se consideran altos y existen relaciones estadísticamente significativas con la dimensión atención emocional y el nivel de formación. Por último, se establecen correlaciones estadísticamente significativas con todas las dimensiones del instrumento (JSE) para estudiantes de enfermería y la edad de los participantes.
